When this disc released in 1997, and the bonuses in 2005, my friends
said: "This is Black Sabbath early 70's!". To which I reply: "So this
written in the years 1970-72, but then was not released." Group was established in
Oslo in 1970, initially under the name Ezra West, then - Lucifer, but then
Lucifer were not counted and the name was changed to "was Lucifer." Spoke in his native
area until 1976 and then in 20 years, "stalled." Albums
then released was not ... Nordic progressive with heavy guitars,
abundant vocalize, flute and mellotron - that's what Lucifer Was.
In another way, the music of this command can also be viewed as a cross between Black
Sabbath and Jethro Tull.

Debut (and the only "intravital") album of the years 1967-1969
Oslo. Was created by guitarist Terje Rypdal (ex-The Vanguards), bassist
Hans Marius Stormoen, keyboardist Christian Reim (both ex-Public Enemies) and
drummer Tom Karlsen (ex-The Sapphires). Dream ... Sound familiar? Then
Hear. Vocal - in English. But that said about rock guitarists,
had influenced him, Terje Rypdal (incidentally, his solo work
lot on the blog): "The first was Hank Marvin of TheShadows.
I tried to copy it as pure sound, especially when playing a ballad.
Then came the great 60's, a fantastic decade, when there was a mass
brilliant guitarists. My idols were Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and,
course, Hendrix. It made me so impressed that I arranged
band "Dream" - to play hendriksopodobnuyu mixture of psychedelia with
energetic pop. On our plate "Get Dreamy" was even a thing,
entitled "Hey Jimi" in the manner of the famous "Hey Joe" Hendrix. In
London, I met with Steve Winwood, who taught me to enjoy
Marshall amps with a specially distorted sound ... "also a famous musician
(later) became the keyboardist Christian Reimu.
